ABOUT ZINNTO

A garden started it. A workshop grew from it.

I am Raymond Taylor, founder of ZINNTO. My first project was a wooden label for a garden bed. The rest started with asking what else I could make.

From desert yard to a place to grow.

In Arizona, I turned my backyard into a place for food, fruit trees, and time outdoors. Beds, soil, shade, and plenty of trial and error changed a dry space into a productive garden.
Every season meant another round of handwritten plant tags. The plastic labels and repetitive writing frustrated me, so I invested in a laser machine and basswood sheets. I could engrave the names, cut the stakes, and get back to the garden.

The work became a harvest.

After a vacation, I expected the garden to need rescuing. Instead, I came home to baskets of vegetables. These are my own photos from that garden, the place where ZINNTO began.

Useful things can be personal.

That machine did more than solve my plant-label problem. I made holiday and wedding gifts, and watched people react to a piece made just for them.
ZINNTO gives other people a way to make those pieces without spending thousands on their own equipment. A family name, a company logo, a remembered date, or a small gift can be the starting point.

Grow It. Keep it. Make it YOURS.

Gardening and preserving are still part of my everyday life. I use a Harvest Right freeze dryer, All American canners, and Mason and Ball jars for my own harvest.
Work brought me to New Jersey, where I am starting a garden again. ZINNTO is growing with it: wooden garden labels, laser-cut and engraved gifts, 3D-printed pieces, and business customization.
Preservation tools and supplies will join the shop over time. ZINNTO does not sell freeze-dried food.
